Wedding Donations

Have you already got a toaster and a kettle? Why not celebrate your wedding by inviting your guests to make a donation to Children in Crisis. Guests can send in a message of goodwill to the couple, which will be compiled into an album along with photographs of children from the programme that has been supported.

Leave A Legacy

Leaving a legacy to Children in Crisis will be an opportunity to lend your support to the education of children around the world for the long term. Your gift will help to transform their lives, their families and communities. However big or small your gift is, you can be assured that it will give children from the poorest communities a chance to change their lives for the better.

Tribute Gifts

Tribute gifts, often made in lieu of flowers, are a wonderful way to make a long-lasting gift in memory of a loved one.  Children in Crisis now has a special page on charity website MuchLoved where tribute gifts in memory of loved ones may be made to our charity. Share Giving

Giving shares is the simplest and most tax-effective way of donating to us. Not only can you claim full income tax relief on the market value of the shares and any associated costs such as broker's fees. For example if you are a higher rate taxpayer and you donate £1,000 worth of shares to a charity, then you will pay £400 less in income tax that year. Additionally, no capital gains tax (CGT) will apply to any increase in the value of the shares donated to charity. A gift of shares allows us to keep our administration costs low, meaning that we can raise valuable funds even more efficiently.

Setting up an online fundraising page is a quick and easy way to raise funds for your charity.  Either use the page as a sponsorship page as you take on a challenge, or just make your own personalised fundraising page to raise funds for Children in Crisis.  Sign up with Justgiving or Virgin Money Giving now.
